Those who practice are demonstrating that they never truly were Christians (1 John 2:19). Therefore, neither objection is valid. Jude 24-25 says it all: "Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present y'all blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and say-so, before all time and at present and forever. Amen."
